October 28, 2008 marks the 43rd anniversary of the final section of the Gateway Arch being put into place. Join us this year for the celebration! Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 25 from 9:00-12:30.

Get a glimpse of the
celebration held last year on Saturday, October 27 from 1:00-5:00 at the Gateway Arch Visitor Center.
Visitors greeted the builders--they were the most skilled in their trade in our country in the 1960's. They shared their incredible first-hand stories of their role in building a structure that had never been built before and nothing like it has been built since. They also shared their memorabilia and photographs--some of which have never been seen before by the public.

The 'construction zone'--an activity area for all ages with Arch tabletop models to build, puzzles and coloring pages.

The City of St Louis Refuse Division which provided fun activities on composting and recycling.
